LCCC is seeking a self-motivated individual with experience in developing and managing a variety of activities that addresses needs and aspirations of family and children. Duties will include promoting aspirational-based activities and opportunities that help school-age youth and adults improve their economic well-being and health outcomes. Educational activities that support a healthy lifestyle and prepare individuals to succeed in employment, self-employment, financial literacy and wealth building are important. Advancing education achievement and personal skill development among the population is paramount to the work.
The successful candidate will have a college degree (masters level preferred) and at least 5 years of management/supervisory experience and with a proven track record of effectiveness in developing and implementing program services that produce developmental outcomes for children, families and neighborhoods.
Excellent verbal and written communication, program management, relationship management, and customer service skills are a must.
Understanding families with a diverse economic background backgrounds and viewing all participants as having the ability to succeed is crucial. Working with numerous community partners and a variety of staff members, volunteers and private contractors are a critical part of the work.
